The Husqvarna Automower 580 EPOS is a high-performance commercial robotic mower built for demanding turf care and high-maintenance sports fields — delivering wire-free, satellite-guided mowing for areas up to 2 acres.
80W Cutting Motor for Demanding Turf
An 80W cutting motor in an aluminum frame cuts down to 0.4" even on intensively fertilized, fast-growing grass.
Wire-Free EPOS RTK-GNSS Navigation
Satellite EPOS RTK-GNSS with approximately 2 cm accuracy enables wire-free installation with virtual boundaries, customizable work areas, temporary stay-out zones, and virtual transport paths between fields. Selectable systematic patterns: stripes, checkerboards, triangles, and diamonds.
Commercial Coverage
Mows up to 2 acres (±20%). Control schedules, zones, and settings from the app, with Husqvarna Fleet Services for professional fleet management. Includes maintenance point and enhanced remote start.
Precision Cutting System
10.2" cutting width with 5 pivoting razor blades and a floating cutting system that follows ground contours. Electric cutting height adjustment from 0.8" to 2.4".
Battery Performance
Li-Ion 8 Ah battery with a typical mow time of 120 minutes and typical charge time of 55 minutes.
Radar Object Detection & Slope Handling
Radar object detection helps the mower navigate around obstacles. Handles slopes up to 45% inside the installation (20% at the boundary). Reinforced rubberized front. Active wheel brushes available as an accessory.
Built for Commercial Service
Quiet operation at 66 dB(A). IPX5 rated — hose washable. 180° service position for easy blade access. Weighs 39 lbs. GPS theft protection included.
In the Box
Charging station, power supply, and 6.6 ft low-voltage cable. Extra blades, wheel brushes, and reference station are NOT included.
Please note: the EPOS RS5 Reference Station is NOT required — it is available as an add-on where satellite coverage is limited. Not needed where you have good satellite service.
