Can I buy a Mammotion Luba from Mowtion Control?
No — we’re an authorized Segway dealer (and Husqvarna dealer). We picked Segway for the dealer support, parts pipeline, and the X4’s acreage advantage. If your heart is set on LiDAR and night mowing, the Luba 3 is a legitimate machine — we’d just rather you buy the right mower than the one we sell.
Which is better for a 1-acre lawn?
The X430. It’s rated for a full acre, cuts a wider 17" path, and handles steeper slopes. The Luba 3 3000H tops out at 0.75 acre — fine for smaller lawns, but tight on a true acre.
Can the X4 mow at night?
You can schedule it around the clock, and it handles low light well. But this is the Luba 3’s honest advantage: LiDAR doesn’t need light at all, so it’s the stronger pick for pitch-dark mowing under heavy tree cover.
Do I need to install a base station or antenna?
Usually not. The X4 uses Network RTK over cellular/Wi-Fi for positioning — a backup antenna is included in the box but most yards never need it. The Luba 3 uses cloud-based NetRTK with no base hardware at all.
What about installation?
